Lake Norman Work Day - Camping - Night Ride! Nov 21
About This Event
Join us in getting a big group out to knock out as much trail work as possible before the winter season. Last year we had 19 folks with 9 folks on leaf blowers and 10 on hand crews!
Workday time: 8:00am-12:30pm
Arrive at 8am for tool distribution and pre-workday information. Work from 8:30am-12:30pm. LUNCH served afterward at the Visitors Center.
Tools provided but bring glove, eye protection, hydration and any snacks you want!
Projects include: leaf management, corridor trimming, trail enhancements.

We have 3 campsites reserved in the family campground for anyone who wants to camp Saturday night (room for 6 tents). First come first serve, email will@tarheeltrailblazers.com to reserve a spot. There may be a group dinner depending on how many folks are camping.
Depending on level of tiredness, we may have a social ride in the afternoon.
And…by special arrangement with the rangers, as a thanks for all the volunteer work we’ll be having a NIGHT RIDE at 5:30pm rolling from the family campground for anyone who’s camping and anyone who isn’t camping but wants to take advantage of this is unique opportunity, as normally LNSP is closed after dark.
