Show up *AGAIN* for Purser Hulsey

The Town of Matthews has been refining plans to invest in Purser Hulsey park.

Back in January we asked you to show up at the Town Commissioners meeting, to make sure the voice of mountain bikers and trail users was heard in that process. And you came! We had 40 people there and made a big impression!

Now we are asking you to show up again.

There is a drop-in public meeting Weds July 8 6-8pm at Matthews Town Hall. This will be the LAST public input opportunity on the plans.

We need you to show up and make sure that your voice is heard.

Our #1 message is that the plans need to protect the existing trail system that is so well used, and has had so much work put into it.

We’d also like to see them add back the pump track that was in the original plans, but is not in the latest version we’ve seen.

This is a DROP-IN meeting, so you can come any time in the 6-8pm range that works for you and stay for as long or as short as you like.

But being there, being visible, and getting your voice heard will make a BIG difference to the future of this lovely park.
